The award winning Jungle Bay Resort is perched high in the forests of Dominica, tucked amongst 55 acres of lush tropical jungle.

Visitors can stay in one of 35 rustic luxury lodges suspended on wooden posts amidst forest flora and fauna, each equipped with a private outdoor shower and the ever-present sound of ocean surf. Daily adventure tours are a highlight and include transportation in open-air safari trucks. Finish each day being pampered in the ocean-view spa and dining at the Pavilion Restaurant where visitors can enjoy mouthwatering organic cuisine.

Making a Difference:

Jungle Bay has undertaken several sustainability issues around the island from the environment to cultural and socio-economic tasks. The eco-resort is a founder of literacy programs to promote education in primary school in Southeast Dominica as well as other education-related programs for high schools and on-site staff members. The resort provides its employees with financial benefits and skills in areas such as construction and is responsible for employing a staff of well over 50 local people, encouraging capacity-building and economic growth in the surrounding areas. The eco-resort monitors the preservation of 55 acres of land including rainforest and a UNESCO World Heritage.
